Lakeshore inn granola recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 3 cups rolled oats (quick-cooking)
- 2 cups Wheatiesor bran flakes cereal
- 1 cup corn flakes
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tablespoons vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix oats, cereal, cornflakes, wheat germ, and pecans in a large bowl. Mix honey, water, vanilla, and oil in a separate bowl; pour over rolled oat mixture, stirring lightly until evenly coated. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick vegetable oil and spread oat mixture on pan.
Bake 40 minutes until lightly browned, stirring every 10 minutes. NOTE: Bake up to an hour for crunchier texture, stirring every 10 minutes. Stir in raisins and cranberries. Cool. Store in airtight container in pantry for up to 1 month.
