King prawns in green sauce recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | king prawns, cooked, shelled, deveined and halved |
2 slice(s) | white bread, crusts removed |
½ cup(s) | red wine vinegar |
3 tbsp | capers, drained and rinsed |
3 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
4 | anchovy fillets |
¾ cup(s) | olive oil |
Instructions
Soak the bread in vinegar for 10 minutes. Squeeze dry and combine it in a blender with parsley, capers, garlic and anchovies and process until smooth. With motor running gradually add the olive oil.Pour the sauce over the prawns and toss until well coated.
