Kim's hash brown bake recipe details
- Ingredients
- 4 cups of frozen shredded potatoes
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups diced ham (optional)
- 1 small onion, diced (I use green onion)
- 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 8 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Put potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch sprayed pan; sprinkle with garlic, pour on melted butter, and cover with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Refrigerate overnight or let cool. Cover with shredded cheese. Mix together milk and eggs and pour over hash browns. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. (Note: I add diced red pepper to the milk mixture for color.)
