Low and slow is the secret to these ribs. Just rub ’em with a dry rub, throw ’em in the smoker, and you’re nearly done. Mop them with your favorite BBQ sauce, then grab a roll of paper towels and start eatin’!

Ingredients
Makes: 3 racks of ribs- Dry Rub
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 1/2 tablespoons seasoned salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons celery salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoons ground sage
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3 slabs pork back ribs
- 1 cup your favorite barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 4 hours 30 mins1. Preheat your smoker or barbeque to 250 degrees F. Or, preheat grill to low heat.
2. Combine the dry rub ingredients until evenly blended. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels, and rub all over with the rib rub.
3. Cook the ribs in the smoker until tender, about 4 hours. When the ribs are almost ready, simmer the barbeque sauce and honey together in a small saucepan for 10 minutes until thickened.
4. Brush the sauce onto the ribs, and continue cooking until very tender and the glaze sets, about 30 minutes.
