Kahlua Topping recipe

|500 ml||whipping cream|
|2 tbsp||instant coffee|
|1 tsp||vanilla extract|
|3 medium||eggs, yolks only|
Combine cream, Kahlua, instant coffee and vanilla in a saucepan and bring to a boil over low heat. Remove from heat and cover the pan. Leave to steep for 15 minutes.
In a separate bowl whisk together the egg yolks and sugar.
Slowly whisk the yolk mixture into the cream mixture and continue cooking over low heat the custard thickens.
Strain the custard in a bowl. Cover and chill before serving.
