Jj's pizza crust recipe details
I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen, trying to create a perfect pizza. This is my tasty crust creation that everyone I know is drooling over. Enjoy!

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- Extra virgin olive oil as needed
Preparation method
Prep: 1 hour 30 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Place the warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit for 5-10 minutes to activate.
2. Mix in olive oil, salt, garlic powder, oregano, and basil, then slowly add flour while mixing. Mix the dough in a mixer, bread maker, or by hand until you have an even consistency.
3. Coat a bowl with olive oil, set the dough inside, cover with plastic wrap and set in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
4. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
5. Separate the dough into 2 or more pieces (depending on how large of a pizza you’d like to make) and flatten out to desired thickness.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 3-4 minutes to firm up the crust before adding toppings. Then top and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes to make one amazing pizza.
