This a nice sweet matgarita on the rocks. If you’re looking for a classic margarita recipe, you’ve found it.

Ingredients

Serves: 1

• 2 shots gold tequila
• 1 shot triple sec
• 1/2 lime, juiced
• 2 teaspoons white sugar
• 1/2 cup sweet and sour mix
• coarse salt for rimming

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. pour in the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, sugar, and sweet and sour mix. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted.
2. Moisten the rim of your cocktail glass, and dip into the coarse salt. Fill the glass with fresh ice and strain the margarita into it.
