Insane steak marinade recipe details
This is a very zesty and unusual marinade. (Best if used on thin steaks.)
Ready in: 2 hours 45 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 large onion, cut into pieces
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/8 cup bottle gravy coloring (Kitchen Bouquet(R) or Gravy Master(R))
- 1 teaspoon Beau Monde(R) seasoning (or Spike(R))
- 4 steaks, any kind
Preparation method
Prep: 2 hours 15 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Combine the soy sauce, the onion and the garlic in a blender and blend at high speed until the mixture is very smooth. Stir in gravy coloring and seasoning.
2. Arrange steaks in a shallow glass baking dish and pour marinade over them. Turn occasionally and spoon marinade on top. Allow to stand at room temperature for 2 hours, or cover dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
3. Broil or BBQ steaks and brush with marinade during cooking. Discard remaining marinade.
