Impossible beef enchilada pie recipe details
Ingredients1. Bisquick (3/4c)
2. eggs (3)
3. milk (1 1/4c)
4. shredded cheddar cheese (2c)
5. finely crushed tortilla chips (2/3c)
6. taco sauce (8oz)
7. pepper (1/4tsp)
8. salt (1/2tsp)
9. dried oregano leaves (1/2tsp)
10. chilli powder (2tsp)
11. finely chopped garlic (2cloves)
12. chopped onion (1c)
13. ground beef (1lb)
14. shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and sour cream (Optional)
Method of preparation
1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees. Take a pie plate of 10*1 ½ inch and grease it.
2. Take a saucepan, cook ground beef, onion and garlic in it until turn brown in color. Mix pepper, salt, oregano, chilli powder and taco sauce in it. Dust the tortilla chips in pie plate. Spread the beef mixture and 1 ½ cup of cheese.
3. Take a blender, beat eggs, milk and bisquick mix in it for about 15 seconds on high speed until it becomes smooth. Now pour this mixture into the pie plate.
4. Place the pie plate in oven and bake it at 400 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes. Take the left over taco sauce and spread it over the top and then dust the left over cheese on it.
5. Again bake it for about 3 to 5 minutes. Keep it to cool for about 10 minutes and then serve it with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and sour cream.
