Hot sour soup details
Ingredients
- Chicken Breast – 1
- Carrot – 1 (finely cut)
- Black Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Egg – 1 (beaten)
- Prawns – 10
- Cabbage – 1 cup (finely cut)
- Chicken Stock (yakhni) – 8 cups
- White Vinegar – ¼ cup
- Bean Sprout – ½ cup
- Fresh Coriander (hara dhania) – ½ cup (chopped)
- Salt – 1tsp
- White Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Sugar – 2tsp
- Corn flour – 6tbsp (dissolved in water)
Instructions
- Cut chicken breast into long thin strips
- Cut cabbage and carrot finely
- Marinate chicken and prawns in salt and ½ tsp black pepper. Set aside for a little while
- Boil stock in a pot
- Add chicken and prawns and cook for 10 minutes
- Add carrot, cabbage, bean sprout, and salt, remaining black pepper, sugar, white pepper, and white vinegar
- When soup starts to boil, add corn flour and egg
- Serve delicious hot and sour soup garnished with fresh coriander
