Homemade crunchy granola recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1 large box Quakeroats
- 1 jar Kretchmerswheat germ
- 3 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
- 4 cups dark brown sugar
- 1-1/2 cup water
- 1-1/4 cup oil
- 3 Tablespoons vanilla
- 1 large can raisins
- 1 large bag coconut
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together oats, wheat germ, walnuts, and cinnamon in bowl. In separate bowl, mix together brown sugar, water, oil, and vanilla. Combine 2 mixtures and mix thoroughly with hands. Grease a large flat pan; pour in mixture and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. After removing from oven, mix in raisins and coconut. Store in airtight bags in freezer.
Preparation time: 15 minutes.
