Hoi sin chicken recipe details
Ingredients
1 ½ tbsp | vegetable oil |
2 | onions, finely sliced |
600 g | chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces |
1 tsp | ginger, finely chopped |
1 | red capsicum, diced |
150 g | broccoli florets |
120 g | mushrooms, halved |
2 tbsp | rice wine |
1 tbsp | soy sauce |
60 ml | malt vinegar |
3 tsp | cornflour |
200 ml | chicken stock |
1 tsp | sesame oil |
Instructions
Stir-fry onions in oil until tender. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.Add ginger, capsicum, broccoli and mushrooms and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Add wine, soy and vinegar and and cook for 1 minute.
Combine flour, stock and sesame oil and pour into pan/wok.
Increase heat and cook until sauce boils and thickens.
Serve with rice or noodles.
