Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy recipe

Ingredients
4 | pork chops |
250 g | sliced mushrooms, fresh |
250 ml | chicken stock |
50 ml | cream |
2 tbsp | vegetable oil |
1 tbsp | flour |
some | salt and pepper |
Instructions
In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil.Gently rinse and pat dry pork chops and season them with salt and pepper on both sides. Place in frying pan and fry for 3-5 minutes per side, until juices run clear. Remove from the pan.
Add mushrooms and cook over medium heat until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Add flour and continue to cook for about 2 minutes.
Slowly whisk in the stock and bring to a boil until thickened.
Return meat to pan, gently stir in the cream and remove from heat.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve over rice, or with mashed potatoes, or pasta and sweet peas.
