Ingredients
8 tbsp | butter, unsalted |
2 medium | onions, diced |
6 stalk(s) | celery, diced |
20 g | fresh parsley, chopped |
1 tsp | salt |
1 tsp | dried sage, ground |
1 tsp | dried rosemary, ground |
½ tsp | dried thyme, ground |
¼ tsp | freshly ground pepper |
60 ml | vegetable broth |
Instructions
Stuffing:
Heat butter until hot in large skillet over low heat, stir in onion and celery, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft, 15-20 minutes.
Transfer to a large bowl and add parsley, salt, sage, rosemary, thyme and pepper. Stir in broth.
Use immediately to fill turkey cavities.
Side dish:
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Butter a large casserole dish and transfer stuffing into the dish and drizzle hot stock. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until top is slightly crisp and golden, about 10 minutes longer. Serve immediately.
