Ham sauce recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | oil |
2 stalk(s) | celery, chopped |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
100 g | ham, diced |
250 ml | chicken stock |
1 tsp | cornflour |
2 tbsp | water |
3 | spring onions, sliced |
1 | egg, beaten |
Instructions
In a pan heat the oil. Sauté onion, celery and the ham for 2-3 minutes. Deglaze with the stock and bring to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 3 minutes.Mix the cornflour with a dash of water. Stir into the sauce and simmer until thickened. Take from heat and whisk in the egg. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve sprinkled with the spring onions.
