Ham and cheese turnovers recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | ham, diced |
120 g | Gouda cheese, diced |
2 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
1 pack(s) | ready rolled out puff pastry |
2 | egg yolks |
paprika powder | |
1 | red bell pepper, finely diced |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 225°C.In a bowl, mix together the ham, cheese, parsley and bell pepper. Season with paprika powder.
Cut out of the puff pastry hand-sized rounds. Brush the edges with egg yolk. Place a spoonful of the ham and cheese mixture in the middle of each round. Fold the rounds to half moons and firmly press together the edges. Brush with the remaining egg yolk and bake for 15 minutes.
Serve warm.
