Guinness brownies recipe details
Ingredients
4 medium | eggs |
150 g | sugar |
230 g | bittersweet chocolate, chopped |
115 g | white chocolate, chopped |
6 tbsp | butter, unsalted |
60 g | cocoa |
70 g | flour |
190 ml | Guiness stout |
confectioners’ sugar for dusting |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Butter a baking pan.Combine the eggs and sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the bittersweet chocolate, white chocolate and butter, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and beat into the egg mixture.
Add the flour and cocoa to the chocolate mixture. Whisk in the Guinness.
Pour mixture into the pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
To serve, dust the cake with confectioners’ sugar and cut into squares.
