Ingredients
Serves: 12- 5 pounds ground venison
- 1 1/2 teaspoons canning salt
- 9 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fennel
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 3 teaspoons Accent
- 1 to 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 2 ounces liquid smoke, mixed with 1 cup water
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 5 hours1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.
2. Mix everything but the liquid smoke in a mixing bowl and press in thin layer on a baking sheet. Brush with liquid smoke.
3. Bake for 5 horus, or until jerky is baked but not burned. Drain occasionally and brush with liquid smoke.
