Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup packed basil leaves
- 1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 4 (6-ounce) tuna steaks, about 1-inch thick
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 5 mins1. Preheat grill to medium-high.
2. In a food processor, combine basil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon zest, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Pulse until smooth, then keep the processor running on low speed and gradually pour in 1/3 cup olive oil. In a mixing bowl, stir the pesto together with cheese.
3. Coat steaks with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place on grill and cook for about 2 minutes on each side.
