Grilled tuna steaks recipe details
An easy way to make tuna on the barbecue. Drop them in a marinade, flip on the ballgame, and 30 minutes later you’re ready to grill.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme
- 4 (6 ounce) tuna steaks
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins1. In a shallow pie or cake pan, whisk the lemon juice with olive oil and stir in garlic and thyme. Place tuna steaks in the pan, turn to coat, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate to marinate for 30 minutes, flipping the steaks after 15 minutes.
2. Preheat grill to medium and lightly oil grate. Drain tuna from marinade and season with salt and pepper; place on grill. Cook for about 4 minutes, flip, and continue to cook until tuna steak is medium-rare.
