Grilled spicy pork tenderloin skewers recipe details
Pork tenderloin goes on the grill and gets a basting from a spicy, homemade bbq sauce.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- Hot sauce, to taste
- 2 (3/4 pound) pork tenderloins, butterflied and cut into long slices
- 4 long wooden skewers, soaked in water
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 45 mins1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F and coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Arrange onion, bell pepper, and garlic on baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep from burning. Pour cooked vegetables into a food processor.
3. Pour ketchup, chili sauce, molasses, and Worcestershire into food processor and add sugar, chili powder, mustard, and hot pepper sauce. Pulse until smooth, then bring to a boil in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Pour 1 cup of sauce into a bowl and set aside.
4. Preheat grill to medium heat and lightly oil grate.
5. Thread the pork slices onto soaked wooden skewers. Brush with sauce, then grill for about 15 minutes, flipping often and basting with reserved 1 cup barbecue sauce.
