Ingredients
Serves: 6- 3 peaches
- 3 Gala apples
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted butter, divided
- 4 crunchy cinnamon granola bars
- 4 crunchy apple crisp granola bars
- Vanilla bean ice cream (optional)
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
2. Slice peaches in half, remove pits. Peel, core and slice apples in half.
3. Grill apples and peaches for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from grill and cut into bite-size pieces.
4. Place in 9 inch oven-safe casserole dish. Add light brown sugar, cinnamon and 6 tablespoons melted butter, and mix well.
5. Place granola bars in large plastic storage bag and smash until well broken. Spread granola on top of apple-peach mixture. Drizzle remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter on top of granola.
6. Place oven-safe casserole dish in grill for 10-12 minutes. Remove and allow to cool slightly, 5-10 minutes. Serve with scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
