Grilled salmon steaks with fresh creamed corn recipe details
A perfect recipe for summer nights by the grill, using fresh salmon and fresh corn.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 cups fresh corn kernels
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper
- 4 (10 ounce) salmon steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 8 mins1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil grate.
2. Pulse 1 cup of corn kernels in a food processor until smooth and set aside.
3. Combine cream, green onions, and the bay leaf in a saucepan and set over medium heat. When mixture comes to a low boil, turn heat down to low and simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken.
4. Take out the bay leaf and add the corn, both the puree and the whole corn kernels. Add salt and pepper to taste. Continue to cook until sauce is hot again, then turn off heat and put a lid on the saucepan.
5. Coat salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Set on the grill. Cook for about 4 minutes, then flip and cook for 4 more minutes, until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Serve with sauce spooned over each helping.
