Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 tablespoon ground allspice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 large pickled jalapeno pepper, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/4 teaspoons black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 12 mins | Extra time: 1 hour, marinating1. Place allspice, garlic, ginger, jalapeno, vinegar, brown sugar, olive oil, black pepper, and salt in a large plastic resealable bag.
2. Place chicken in the bag with the remaining spice mixture. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate to marinate for 1 hour, then drain.
3. Preheat grill to medium and lightly oil grate. Grill chicken for 12-15 minutes, until no longer pink inside. Serve.
