Grilled pork chops covered with ham, tomato, and mozzarella cheese.
Ready in: 30 mins

Ingredients

Serves: 4
  • 4 (3/4 inch thick) pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 slices baked ham
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • fresh oregano to taste
  • paprika to taste

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 20 mins

1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Grill until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F. That’s about 4 minutes per side for a one-inch thick chop. 6 minutes per side for a 1 1/2 inch thick one.
3. Add ham, tomato, and mozzarella cheese slices. Sprinkle with paprika and oregano.
4. When cheese is melted remove from grill. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
