Grilled dr pepper beef tenderloin recipe details
Beef tenderloin with the punch of Dr. Pepper. Make sure you use regular Dr. Pepper, not the diet version.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 pounds beef tenderloin, tied with kitchen string
- 1 liter Dr. Pepper(R) soda
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 45 mins | Extra time: 5 hours, marinating1. Combine all ingredients in a large plastic resealable bag. Seal bag, turn to coat, and refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate.
2. Preheat grill to medium and lightly oil grate. Pour the marinade into a saucepan and refrigerate.
3. Place beef tenderloin on the grill, close lid, and cook for about 45 minutes, until beef reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees F.
4. Remove beef from grill and cover with foil. Let stand for 15 minutes.
5. While beef is resting, set the saucepan of marinade over high heat. When the marinade boils, turn heat down to medium-low. Cook for 5 minutes to thicken and reduce.
6. Serve beef sliced with the reduced marinade spooned over each helping.
