Ingredients
1 ½ kg | sirloin steak |
2 | oranges |
ginger, 4 cm | |
3 clove(s) | garlic |
⅛ l | soy sauce |
⅛ l | dry sherry |
60 ml | orange juice, freshly squeezed |
½ tsp | dried chili peppers, finely ground |
6 | spring onions |
Instructions
Cut the meat into 4 cm cubes. Halve the oranges, then cut into 1 cm thick slices. Peel and finely chop the ginger and the garlic. In a bowl, mix all with the soy sauce, orange juice, Sherry and chili. Marinate the meat for approximately 4 hours.Cut the spring onions into 4 pieces.
Remove the meat from the marinade and season with salt and pepper. In turn, spike the oranges, the beef and the onions onto the 12 wooden skewers.
Barbecue or grill under the broiler of your oven grill at high heat for approximately 7 minutes.
Heat the marinade. Place two skewers onto each plate and pour over the marinade. Serve with fresh bread or rice and green salad.
