Ingredients
Serves: 16- 4 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 cup barbecue sauce (Bulls Eye(R))
- 2 tablespoons Pappy’s(R) rib rub
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 more cups BBQ sauce, set aside
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Preheat grill to medium high heat. If using a gas grill, you want the internal temperature to reach 400 degrees F.
2. Take the 4 pounds ground beef and mix with 3/4 cup BBQ sauce. Begin to take pieces of meat and form into patties. Place patties on foil sheet.
3. Take dry ingredients and mix in a small container. Sprinkle over both sides of the patties until none is left.
4. Open the buns and sprinkle them on the insides with olive oil, salt and pepper.
5. Place the burgers on the grill for 4 minutes, then turn. After 4 minutes, turn burgers again and place the cheese on top of the meat. Place buns, face down on grill. Kill the heat and allow the cheese to melt on the burger. Serve and enjoy.
