Do not know why she called it Chopped Pickles, no pickles in it, but this is good!

Ingredients

Makes: 8 pints

• 1/2 Pk. Green Tomatoes
• 6 Green Peppers
• 2 Red Peppers
• 6 Onions
• 1 Head Cabbage,Chopped (Not too fine)
• 1/2 ounce Mace
• 1/2 ounce Allspice
• 1/2 ounce Whole Cloves(Tie Cloves in a Bag)
• 4 Tbsp.Salt
• 1 Lb. Brown Sugar
• Vinegar(To cover)

Preparation method

Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 30 mins | Extra time: 1 hour, canning

1. Combine all ingredients in a non-reactive pan and cover all with Vinegar.
2. Boil Slowly until Tender, about 30 minutes.
3. Seal in sterilized hot jars.
