Goulash with beef and pork recipe details
Ingredients
600 g | beef, 3 cm cubes |
600 g | pork, 3 cm cubes |
vegetable oil | |
1 ½ kg | onions, roughly chopped |
4 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
8 | coriander roots, finely chopped |
50 g | tomato paste |
salt, pepper, allspice, chili, cumin, paprika | |
350 ml | chicken stock |
some | flat leaf parsley, chopped |
Instructions
Brown the meat in oil in a large casserole/Dutch oven in batches. Return all meat to the pot, add the onions and fry for about 10 minutes, stir occasionally.Add garlic and roots and fry until liquid is evaporated. Stir in tomato paste and stir-fry for a further minute. Season to taste.
Pour in the stock, bring to a short boil, reduce the heat and braise for about 2 hours. Stir occasionally.
Add parsley and serve with potatoes or pasta and a green bean salad or green beans baked in butter.
