Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 pound sausage links
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 large red apple, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Cook sausage links in skillet over medium heat until browned and no longer pink in the middle, about 15 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then chop into bite-size pieces.
2. Meanwhile, in a glass bowl, combine flour, water, apple, and onion; cover with plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes. Add sugar, let the heat recover, and cook for another 2 minutes. Stir, then add sausages.
3. Serve over pancakes or waffles, if desired.
