Joyce's macadamia waffles recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1-1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts (can substitute pecans)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
In a medium bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat the remaining waffle ingredients together. Fold in the egg whites. Pour into a hot waffle iron that has been greased and bake to taste.
