Gladstone inn's breakfast calzone recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1 pound sweet bulk sausage
- 2 jars of peppers and onions
- 10 eggs
- 2 loaves frozen bread dough
- 1 pound hot bulk sausage
- 2 packages (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
Cook and crumble sausage. Mix with drained peppers and onions. Scramble eggs; add to sausage. Roll thawed bread dough into a rectangle about 3/4 inch thick. Place filling on rolled-out dough. Sprinkle with cheese. Roll up jelly roll fashion. Place seam side down on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes until brown and crusty. Top may be sprinkled with caraway or sesame seeds or dill. Slice and serve hot.
