Gabi s Ultimate Meatloaf recipe
|500 g||ground pork|
|500 g||ground beef|
|2 tsp||marjoram, dried|
|2 tsp||paprika powder|
|some||pepper, freshly ground|
|2 tbsp||parsley, fresh|
|2 tbsp||Parmesan cheese, grated|
Preheat oven to 190 C.
Soak bread in water for about 5 minutes.
Peel and finely dice the onion and sauté it in the butter. Let them cool off and mix the onions, the meat, the eggs and all the spices together really well using your hands.
Squeeze the liquid out of the bread and add bread to meat mixture. Continue mixing with your hands. Total mixing time should be about 10 minutes.
Grease the bottom of a baking dish and place meat into the dish, forming it into a loaf.
Bake uncovered for 75-90 minutes or until juices flow clear after inserting a skewer into the middle of the loaf and pulling it back out.
