Fruit squash recipe details
Ingredients
4 | grapefruit |
4 | oranges |
3 | lemons |
500 g | sugar |
12 l | water |
30 g | citric acid |
Instructions
Peel all fruits and remove the pith and pips from the fruit and discard. Roughly chop the flesh into a pan and add the sugar, water and citric acid.Heat gently, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved, then raise the heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool overnight.
Strain off the citrus juice and discard any pulp.
