Fried or baked camembert recipe details
Ingredients
150 g | Camembert, one round piece |
1 | egg(s) |
4 tbsp | bread crumbs |
some | vegetable oil |
Instructions
Scramble the egg in a medium bowl. Run cheese through the egg and coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat to make sure cheese does not leak out.In a small frying pan heat vegetable oil over medium heat. The oil is hot enough when you bubbles rise from a wooden toothpick or wodden spoon held into the hot oil.
Fry cheese over medium-low heat until golden brown on both sides.
You can also bake it in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 200 C. For added flavor, try adding some crushed corn flakes or ground almonds to the bread crumbs.
