Ingredients
1 head(s) | cauliflower |
2 tbsp | butter |
2 tbsp | almond flakes |
2 head(s) | broccoli |
2 tbsp | butter |
2 tsp | sesame seeds |
sesame oil | |
250 g | curd cheese |
50 g | sour cream |
1 tbsp | fresh herbs, chopped (parsley, chives, etc.) |
1 | lime, grated peel |
salt and pepper | |
sugar | |
nutmeg | |
lettuce leaves, to garnish |
Instructions
Divide the cauliflower and the broccoli in florets. Crosswise carve the stems. Cook in salted water until tender, but still a bit firm to the bite.Mix the curd cheese with sour cream, lime peel and the herbs and season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar.
In a pan, heat the butter and roast the almonds. Add the cauliflower and cook stirring for a few minutes. Season with salt and nutmeg.
In a separate pan, heat the butter with sesame seeds and sesame oil. Add the broccoli and cook for a few minutes. Season with salt and nutmeg.
To serve:
Place a dollop of the curd cheese dip in the middle of the plates and surround with broccoli and cauliflower. Decorate with some small lettuce leaves.
Variation:
Also good when broccoli and cauliflower are coated with breadcrumbs and deep-fried.
