Ingredients
300 g | broccoli florets |
500 g | lean ground beef |
400 g | tomatoes, diced |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tbsp | tomato paste |
½ tsp | dried basil leaves |
½ tsp | dried oregano leaves |
½ tsp | dried thyme leaves |
180 ml | beef broth |
350 g | pasta, uncooked |
100 g | Cheddar cheese, grated |
Instructions
Put broccoli, onion, basil, oregano, tomatoes, beef broth and spices in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours.Combine beef and garlic in large nonstick skillet and brown over high heat, 6-8 minutes. Pour off drippings and add beef mixture to slow cooker. Cover and cook for another 2 hours.
Add pasta and cheese, cover and cook for further 30 minutes.
