Ingredients
350 g | flour |
4 | firm bananas |
1 tsp | baking powder |
200 ml | water |
5 tsp | baking soda |
5 tsp | salt |
750 ml | vegetable oil |
Instructions
In a large bowl combine 250g of the flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt. With a wire whisk blend in the water until the batter is smooth and well combined.Heat oil in a large pan over high heat.
Cut the bananas into bite-sized pieces. Coat the bananas with the remaining flour. Turn the banana pieces in the batter and coat well. Deep fry the bananas, 4-6 pieces at a time, until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
Serve with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream.
