French nanny's onion soup recipe details
- Ingredients
- 6 to 8 medium onions, sliced
- Butter or olive oil
- 3 cans beef broth
- 2 to 3 Tablespoons brandy (optional)
- Day-old French bread, sliced
- Swiss cheese, sliced
