An easy to make summertime salad. A favorite at our home.
Ready in: 12 hours 10 mins

Ingredients

Serves: 8
  • 1 (15 ounce) can wax beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can green beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans
  • 1 white onion – cut into small pieces
  • Marinade:
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation method

Prep: 12 hours 10 mins

1. Drain and rinse the four canned vegetables in a colander. Dump into a bowl with a tight fitting lid along with the chopped onion.
2. Mix the marinade ingredients together and pour over the vegetables. Seal with a tight fitting lid and tumble once or twice to distribute the marinade through the vegetables. Put in the refrigerator and let it marinate for at least 12 hours. Tumble it a couple of times to give all the vegetables a good coating.
