Four bean salad recipe details
An easy to make summertime salad. A favorite at our home.

Ingredients
Serves: 8- 1 (15 ounce) can wax beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can green beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans
- 1 white onion – cut into small pieces
- Marinade:
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation method
Prep: 12 hours 10 mins1. Drain and rinse the four canned vegetables in a colander. Dump into a bowl with a tight fitting lid along with the chopped onion.
2. Mix the marinade ingredients together and pour over the vegetables. Seal with a tight fitting lid and tumble once or twice to distribute the marinade through the vegetables. Put in the refrigerator and let it marinate for at least 12 hours. Tumble it a couple of times to give all the vegetables a good coating.
