Ingredients

1 kg potatoes, waxy type
salt and pepper
2 tbsp oil
4  fillet steaks, approx. 80g each
1 tsp rosemary, dried or fresh

Instructions

Wash, peel and dice the potatoes. Cook the potatoes in salted water until just done.

Preheat the oven to 80°C.

Shortly before the cooking time of the potatoes ends, heat the oil in a skillet and sear the steaks from both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the skillet and transfer into the oven onto a plate.

Drain the potatoes and fry with the rosemary in the dripping of the steaks until the potatoes are crispy and brown.

Serve the steaks with the rosemary potatoes and with a fresh salad.
