Fillet steak with rosemary potatoes recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | potatoes, waxy type |
salt and pepper | |
2 tbsp | oil |
4 | fillet steaks, approx. 80g each |
1 tsp | rosemary, dried or fresh |
Instructions
Wash, peel and dice the potatoes. Cook the potatoes in salted water until just done.Preheat the oven to 80°C.
Shortly before the cooking time of the potatoes ends, heat the oil in a skillet and sear the steaks from both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the skillet and transfer into the oven onto a plate.
Drain the potatoes and fry with the rosemary in the dripping of the steaks until the potatoes are crispy and brown.
Serve the steaks with the rosemary potatoes and with a fresh salad.
