Fettuccine carbonara recipe details
Fried bacon, onions and garlic stirred through a creamy sauce and served over pasta.

Ingredients
Serves: 2- 2 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (12 ounce) package fettuccini pasta
- 1 ounce Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 egg
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Bring large pot of water to boil and cook pasta according to directions. Drain well.
2. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook bacon, onion and garlic over medium heat until bacon is cooked through and onion is translucent. Take off the heat.
3. Stir bacon, onion and garlic into cooked pasta.
4. Combine egg and cream in a mixing bowl.
5. Combine all in pasta pot. Top with grated cheese.
