This is the ultimate in macaroni and cheese – 7 cheeses – that’s why it’s EXTREME!

Ingredients

Serves: 8
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 cups elbow macaroni
  • 6 ounces Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 ounces Colby cheese
  • 6 ounces mild Cheddar cheese
  • 6 ounces Velveeta(R) cheese
  • 6 ounces Muenster cheese
  • 2 ounces shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 ounce grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic and herb powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • paprika

Preparation method

Prep: 25 mins | Cook: 45 mins

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease an 8×8 inch glass baking dish.
2. Boil water with olive oil and salt. Add macaroni; cook until tender.
3. Cut cheeses into small cubes and mix cheeses together.
4. Once macaroni is done, place into drainer to rinse, then add oregano, parsley, garlic and herbs, pepper.
5. Layer macaroni in baking dish, spread cubed cheeses generously, then grated cheeses on each layer, for a total of 3 layers. Add milk, margarine, then cover top with paprika.
6. Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 45 minutes.
