Eggs picante recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 12 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 pound sausage sauteed with 1/4 cup onion
- 4 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup picante sauce or salsa
Blend eggs and sour cream in blender. Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish. Bake until set, about 15 minutes, at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Drizzle with 1/4 cup salsa. Spoon sausage onion mixture and mushrooms over salsa and eggs. Mix cheese together and sprinkle over sausage. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly. Drizzle with remaining salsa.
