Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 fresh large mushrooms (about 2-inch diameter), stemmed
- 1 serving instant stuffing mix
- 4 ounces fresh crab meat
- 2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Old Bay(R) Seasoning (if desired)
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a small glass bowl, melt butter in microwave (about 30 sec). Dip bottoms of mushroom caps in butter and place in a 9-inch glass baking dish.
3. Prepare 1 serving of stuffing mix per package instructions. When the stuffing mix is done, add crab meat and Parmesan cheese and mix thoroughly. (If you want a little kick, add 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning to the stuffing mixture.)
4. Spoon stuffing mixture into each mushroom cap. If desired, sprinkle Old Bay seasoning on top.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until mushrooms turn brown and juices begin to run.
