Easy chicken pesto fusilli carbonara a la fromage recipe details
A tasty pasta combination for meat and cheese lovers. Just something I threw together one day.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 cups fusilli pasta
- 1/2 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 5 slices bacon
- 4 tablespoons prepared pesto sauce
- 1/2 cup cubed Cheddar cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 25 mins1. Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook pasta as directed on package, about 10 minutes. Drain.
2. Meanwhile, place chicken and bacon in separate skillets and cook over medium heat until both are cooked through, bacon is crispy and chicken is no longer pink in the middle. This will take about 15 minutes.
3. Remove bacon first and pat with a paper towel. Cut bacon into bite-sized pieces and place in a serving bowl. Next place pasta on top of the bacon.
4. Stir cheese and pesto into the pasta. Remove the chicken and cut into cubes. Add to pasta and toss. Serve immediately.
