Duck breast with apple sauce recipe details
Ingredients
3 | duck breast fillets |
40 g | cream |
3 tbsp | Calvados |
10 g | butter |
2 | apples, peeled, cored, sliced |
250 ml | gravy |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 170°C.Season the duck breasts with salt and pepper and place in a casserole dish with some water. Cook in the oven for about 20 minutes or until skin is golden brown.
Place the apple slices in a pan and stew with butter and Calvados. Deglaze with gravy and stir in cream.
Cut the duck breast in thin slices and serve with the apple sauce.
