Crock pot wings recipe details
Nice lil mix of flavors. Little sweet, little kick, little Asian, little traditional wing flavor. So tender they fall off the bone.
Ready in: 8 hours 20 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 4- 4.5 lbs Full chicken wings
- 1/2 bottle Chili sauce
- 2 oz Maple syrup
- 1/2 oz Worchestershire
- 4 oz Sweet and sour sauce
- 2 TBSP Fresh salsa/pico
- 6 oz Louisiana hot wing sauce
- Lots of Louisiana chicken seasoning
- few shakes Chili powder
- several dashes Garlic salt
- 2 oz White zombie hot sauce
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 8 hours1. Place all ingredients in a Crock pot on medium for 7 hours since my wings were kinda frozen. Stir occasionally and keep coated in the sauce. Turn off for an hour but leave in crock.
2. Place on broil pan and put little of sauce over wings… sauce is pretty thin. Broil for 5 to 7 minutes to crisp the skin and carmelize the sauce.
3. Eat.Tip
This is the basis I used and it is easy to pick or choose the ingredients to tip the heat or flavor toward what you want. Adding peppers is fun if you got the right eaters.
Other ideasThese will basically end up with the bones able to be pulled right out. Not a traditional chain store wing, but everyone loves em.
