Creamy pesto shrimp recipe details
Ingredients
Pesto (1/3c), butter (1/2c), grated parmesan cheese (1c), linguine pasta (1pound), heavy cream (2c), ground black pepper (1/2tsp), Peeled and deveined large shrimp (1 pound).
Method of preparation
Take a large pot, add water with little salt in it. Keep it to boil and then add linguine pasta in it. Cook it for about 8 to 10 minutes or until it gets soft. Take a large frying pan, place it over medium heat and then melt butter in it. Mix cream in it and then add pepper. Keep it to cook for about 6 to 8 minutes by stirring it. Now in the cream sauce add the parmesan cheese and mix it properly. Add pesto in it and keep it to cook for about 3 to 5 minutes or until the mixture gets thickened. Now add shrimp and cook it for about 5 minutes or until the shrimp turn its color to pink. When it gets ready then serve it over the warm linguine.
